I am a romantic by nature and I am inspired by the emotions of the couple, their families, and their friends on the wedding day. My techniques are those used in fashion photography and photojournalism. My work has been described as edgy and emotionally powerful. I see myself as an artist with photography as my medium...it is how and what I see that I hope will touch your heart. I have an easy-going, fun loving manner that will help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I've found that by spending time with my clients and getting to know them before the wedding day, they are more willing to let go and be themselves. This is the main reason I include an engagement session with every package. We get to know each other better during this important shoot, and I get to see you in photographs and discover your most flattering angles. I keep my style fresh by always evolving with new styles in imagery, being constantly on the lookout for new locations, and by keeping abreast of the market with the best quality photo finishing available.
To make your day easier, I am assisted by my wife Kelly. Kelly will help you and your family during formal photographs and adds her personal touch during your romantic photography. Kelly also shoots candid photographs throughout your wedding day.
My mission is to provide you with the best possible picture story of your wedding day. There are many elements in a wedding story to tell...the season and the weather; relationships between family members and friends; unique aspects of the wedding and reception such as the location or special ceremonial events; details of the bride's bouquet, shoes and jewellry, the table settings, cake; and of course the candid, spontaneous moments between the bride and groom as you react to the day's events. I love weddings and I think my work reflects that feeling...weddings are joyous occasions, I try my best to add to the joy. I photograph from the heart.
